Continuing Education
CONTACT HOURS
Our vision is to see health care in the United States adopt complementary therapies as part of an integrated holistic health care plan. We do this by bridging the gap between educational programs- teaching about holistic modalities. Our Holistic Energy Healing Certification workshops are to designed with health care professionals in mind. We combine learning styles with written text, group discussions, and hands-on-healing. Completion of the course material can be applied as continuing education contact hours where appropriate. Meaning your applied interest and work will be formally recognized. At this point we offer this support to two health care groups: Nurses and Massage Therapists. We plan to include more in the future and continually strive for this integration and acceptance.
Healing in America was created to provide integrated approach to healing health care and to show how different therapies can be used in complementary ways. Holistic Energy Healing Certification provides the tools and understanding to ensure practitioners can use them in their everyday care of their patients/clients. At the end of each module, a Certificate of Attendance will be presented to attendees. Completion of the training modules alone does not imply certification.
As trainers, our education with Holistic Energy Healing has been brought over from Britain, where it is taught and practiced in many hospitals in the UK (Britain) and is recognized by the National Health Service. We believe this is an important merge point for all healers, whether you are energy based or medicinally based. All parts of the body work together- mind, body, and spirit. As more nurses and massage therapists learn the benefits of incorporating a holistic approach - both for themselves and for patients/clients - we hope more health programs will open up.

Nurses are at risk of burnout and healthcare facilities are at risk of high turnover of staff. Many nurses are aware of energy healing through familiarity with modalities such as Healing Touch, but often lack the knowledge to apply these techniques to themselves and patients in order to ensure they do not become depleted of their own energy and give optimum health to others. This course will provide the opportunity for nurses to gain energy healing knowledge and skills.
