Do you have an Abundance Mindset?
Very few people that I know seem satisfied with their lot and never feel that have enough of everything - and many complain they never have enough of this or that.
Do you think we ever reach the stage where we are completely satisfied in life and content with what we have?
Do we show gratitude for what we have?
Many people suffer from “poverty consciousness’” and struggle to understand that on some level we are creating this situation.
For those who believe in reincarnation, I would imagine that in the past many of us have lived in monasteries or convents and taken pledges of poverty and lived humble lives, and survived on scarcity. Perhaps these ancestral trends have trickled through into this lifetime where we have an opportunity to address this issue – if we chose.
Some believe we do not deserve abundance and perhaps feel we need to be punished for past indiscretions and so we get stuck in this pattern of “not worthy”.
So how do we create abundance?
Many clients associate abundance with money – they never have enough money for this or that and I totally relate to that situation.
Those of you who live in California will know how expensive it is to live here – many of our friends have left for Arizona and Texas where it is less expensive – but I wonder whether, in a couple of years’ time, they will still be in the same frame of mind – not enough money.
I have mentioned before in our newsletter how growing up in a small mining town in England, I and my three brothers lived in a semi-detached house, three of us had to share the same bedroom, and my Dad delivered milk 7 days a week, and didn’t have a holiday for many years.
So, although there was always food on the table, we learned to appreciate what we had in materialistic terms, worked, and played hard, and rarely envied others, and that upbringing has made me appreciate what we have – not what we don’t have.
On a more spiritual level, I do believe that we can create abundance in our life and that the universe will provide whatever we ask for – without judgment.
Where we go wrong is that our timescale and that of the universe are not always the same!
If you tell the universe what we want, then we just need to trust and truly believe we will get it, and wait for it to happen.
Often, of course, we get frustrated with any delay, and then the vibration of our intention changes – creating a mismatch with the vibration the universe is responding to.
The manifestation then doesn’t happen which frustrates us even more.
We know that what we focus on is what we see in our world. So, focus on “seeing” whatever it is you want to create for your abundance, really believe the universe will provide and just be patient. This is really putting the Law of Attraction into action!
To quote the late Wayne Dyer – “Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.”
Try it and see!
“Each one of us has the ability to heal ourselves and others. That gift, which is often dormant, can be awakened and used to transform our lives, and those around us, into something remarkable”
