How do I Know if I Have a Gift?

A very common and understandable question - to which I reply it’s a little bit like playing the piano - we can all learn to play - but obviously, some find it easier than others - and occasionally there is someone who, at a very early age, astonishes everyone with an amazing gift.

I believe that provided we have the desire to help others, have compassion and have a belief that there is a “power” greater than us, then the techniques can be learned.

New Year Resolutions

We have probably all made New Year's wishes at one time or another - and most of us have probably not been able to stick to them for very long.  Why is this?

Studies I've read over the years show that people that set New Year's goals don't actually meet them. In fact, of the 41% of Americans who make New Year's resolutions, only 9% were successful in keeping them.

Love of Life

Remember to look for the good in others and try not to be drawn to people with negative frequencies – hang out with people where you can laugh and be totally yourself.

“Years may wrinkle the skin – but to give up on the enthusiasm of life is to wrinkle the soul”

A Time of Trust

As I have mentioned in many previous newsletters, this really is a time of trust and a belief that as we emerge from these times of the biggest changes ever in our evolution, the world we can create can be truly amazing.

Slow Dance
“I never seem to have time” seems to be a common remark these days and everyone seems to be
rushing around and stressed out.

Abundance Consciousness

To attract abundance into your life, you need to feel abundant. You have to develop an “abundance consciousness”. By that, I mean becoming aware of the existence of plenty of everything, of feeling it in your life, and of connecting with it, even if it doesn’t seem to be a part of your life at this moment.

Loneliness

Science is now showing that loneliness can cause many physically and emotionally damaging health issues – many of which were observed during the Covid-19 isolation period.

Loneliness is a universal human emotion that is both complex and unique to each individual. Because it has no single common cause, the prevention and treatment of this potentially damaging state of mind can vary dramatically.

Compassion

Healers are motivated to go out of their way to help others who are suffering through physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual pain, and whist it is something you can perhaps learn, I feel that compassion comes from the heart and you either have it or you don’t!

The Knee-jerk Blame Reaction

We often start a sentence with “You Always” or “You Never.” These toxic prefaces are classic blame shifters. You ALWAYS forget to check the calendar, or You NEVER let me know things in advance. It’s ALL your fault, and I BLAME you.

Do these remarks sound familiar?
